Found this site, silentsms.com.
Claims to send anonymous SMS for free, but you have to do some survey shit from OGAds to verify.
The architecture in their whitepaper actually looks half-decent (decoupled execution engine, etc.).
Is this a giant fucking honeypot or is it legit? Has anyone tested if it actually works?

With this kind of shit it's a dice roll with one way to find out.

About a decade or more ago, some retard I knew used to send me messages using sites like these because he was too broke or too cheap to recharge his credit. Then I started getting prank calls because he left the number publicly visible on the site. Back then blocking numbers wasn't as easy so I just answered and left the call open without listening to waste the prankster's credit. Eventually they gave up.

this is just a "tool" website, the website makes more money than it costs to run the tool/service. in this case sending an SMS by doing "their" survey shit. they probably make $2 everytime someone fills out their survey. depending on how long it was.

also if OP says it's from OGads, then your data is pretty "safe".
ie; they're an actual reputable business and arent just grabbing your data and selling in the next day. the website itself isnt actually getting those details, the OGads is, and they give it to the advertiser that pays them to get people to take the survey.
the website itself is just using OGads as a service to monetize, theyre not associated with them most likely.
