Typescript and PHP are the only sane languages.
Sanity is having a programming language with no types and bolting types on top of it.
It's the only way to avoid the language being too academically autistic while still keeping it safe.
Still, java is what's used so I'm gonna use java.

it's not about lines of code, but how the lines look in code crafted with "enterprise best practices" and the levels of indirections to do simplest stuff that you would not have if not adhering to the clean code cargo cult

Shite is when "YOU WILL USE THE OOP WITH THE INHERITANCE FOR ALL THE THINGS" mentality is dominant.
