It's retarded how people pride themselves on being savvy. They think they've avoided advertisement because they aren't watching traditional "boomer" media. They're watching more advertisement than anyone ever did in years past. Just because there are no clear cut commercial breaks so people don't think they're seeing ads.
It's all so stupid. In effort to set yourselves apart from the uncool older generations you become worse than they ever were.
The only thing I see of all this modern media is infomercials. Imagine if instead of MTV or HBO. Billy Mays was the most popular channel on cable in 1990. Every kid wants to watch Billy Mays shill his OxyClean.
You have to hand it to the ad industry. They've so thoroughly owned you all and you don't even know it.
