>"16:9 sucks because it's too wide (and too short) to be productive for content creation and programming and not wide enough to be immersive for gaming"
>"I like 3:2 and wish there was a way to have a modern HDMI 3:2 monitor"
>"So I tried using the surface studio's screen as a PC monitor"
>"To get the screen working right, I bought display driver boards from chinks on AliExpress and shocker, they didn't work, and the sellers scammed me and then got me banned from AliExpress for reporting them"
>"So anyways, I decided to just use a 4K 32:9 monitor because it combines the convenience of multi-monitor setups, and allows me to have full-height windows of any aspect ratio and shit"
Is he onto something?

I still use 16:9 but I've finally moved out of 1080p to 1440p on my monitors and my TVs are all 4K (although those require display scaling for the PCs attached to them to even make them usable so productive area ends up reduced regardless).
