Good smartphones for not a lot of money, with not a lot of bloat slapped on top of android like other brands do.
But motorola also only does 3 to 4 years of safety updates.
But not really a problem for me because i get a new phone around every 2 years.

Those are not called Motorola anymore -- Just Moto -- for a reason: it's just Lenovo now.

As a phone company they got chinked to the max, the V3 was their last good cell phone imo.
As for their micro-controllers, they're still pretty reliable. Even in regards to their old ass MCs like the 68000

They can be a mixed bag. But they're the closest to stock AOSP Android you can get, so I suffer them.

Also: >>105670863 yeah, the gesture for the flashlight (ONLY the flashlight the others like twist for camera) is useful. The others are worthless.

They used to be so cool. Remember Moto Maker? Then they got bought by Chinovo, sad and many such cases etc etc.

Their budget phones are extremely good value and include features like headphone jacks and microSD card slots. They also make it easy to unlock the bootloader and quite a few of their phones have official custom ROM support like LineageOS.

Good hardware for the price, close to no bloat and can easily flash custom ROMs. Their only downside is a giga shitty updating software on the stock (it works, but for some reason it works incredibly slow and sometimes it has to start from scratch) and that pretty much all of them have shitty cameras.

it has disconnected maybe 5 times since i got it last month. you have to start up the clicks app every time you turn on your phone in order for the keyboard to work, which is annoying. i did not know there was an update.
i would say the phone is about 60% secure in case it falls. not really sure if any other case out there would be much better

They're good budget phones but only if you buy unlocked -- I made the mistake of getting one from T-Mobile "for free" and it is the most AIDS ridden bloated piece of shit ever. I've had to manually disable so many weird ass apps that serve to just install random promoted apps to my phone.

battery life in my experience so far has been about 16 to 20 hours, and it charges about 30% in 10 minutes. i actually like the camera a lot. great selfies, decent pictures, and pretty great video. it has a camcorder mode. honestly i would recommend the basic 25 razr over the ultra from a price to performance perspective. you dont really lose out on much, other than some RAM and storage and a bit of CPU power. the ultra is 10% off on amazon right now though, so it still is a great deal

They made the first truly affordable folding phones, and they are actually very goods at that. It's a shame they are weighed down by jeetdroid, they have real potential to become a major player again. Maybe China will come up with something that frees us from this faggot duopoly.
