C++ is too high IQ for the nocoders on this board, they love C because it so "elegant" and "simple" (nocoders actually believe this).

I have never paid for developer tools and don't plan on doing so.
Why would want to torment yourself with this shitty sepples ecosystem?
You don't look native on linux where the majority of DEs use gtk
You struggle to make mobile builds and good luck interacting with system APIs and managing lifetimes
Windows has a built-in webview and even the built-in apps use web tech like react
Nowadays, you can use web tech even for IoT devices
Again, why torment yourself when you can make things that just werk instead of working on making things not fall apart?

Not even the same playing field. C# has no stable cross-plat UI.

Web tech is horrid as far as compute resources and developer time it takes to actually finish a product.

>compute
You're not saving much believe it or not.
Some C# guy made a json serializer manually and went over the incoming data as it came buffer by buffer, avoided most allocations, using a memory pool to avoid requesting from the OS and all the tricks in the book only to save some 30$ A YEAR on compute
>developer time it takes
Your a funny guy. Webdev is the easiest platform to shit out any idea you have. Especially now since AI is basically trained on the entire internet of webshit.
Show me how you can access the user's webcam on all major platforms in Qt.
Now compare that to webdev.
Let's brush off that comparison as "complicated" and give Qt a break.
What about animations? It's piss easy to do in vanilla html/css without any framework. How does Qt do it?
Using sepples is like asking to be in debt.

>Webdev is the easiest platform to shit out any idea you have.
Nope. It's the easiest to get started with (just need a text editor), but it's the hardest to actually make something that works well. Have you actually had a job with it before where you had to finish something?
Regarding compute, it's not about the cost, it's about being able to do a task in the necessary time or not.
You seem like someone who has only done toy projects and haven't had to make production software before.

Time-critical larpers strike again. This time in a UI thread!
So, how do you access the webcam in a cross-platform way using sepples/Qt?
Maybe do a few animations here and there?
Make a PDF maybe?
You're totally pointless drowning in technical debt that is sepples and trying to gaslight yourself into thinking it's actually useful for something.

I use C because I write firmware and design embedded systems. I also use VHDL, but VHDL is actually too high IQ for damn near everyone on this board, it breaks their little minds.
