I found a subdivision with their flock safety camera just plugged into the same outlet used to light up their entrance at night. If you're cutting the solar panel cable or fucking unplugging (kek) the camera, keep in mind they have internal batteries so it's better to just destroy the camera.

The challenge with lasers is environmental. You need a direct line of sight to the camera, while being distant or concealed enough that you won't be identified but still have enough accuracy to cook the camera. That's not to say guns are definitively better (flock safety also makes gunshot detectors if you didn't know), but something simple like knocking the camera with something like a selfie stick to point it at the sky or the ground can be enough.
