Miele Complete C3
are miele vacuums reddit or no? need a vacuum and reddit says "get a canister vacuum bro, bagless vacuums are a meme!"

or should I get a dyson like a chad (my v7 cordless had 15 minutes of use time and didn't suck shit after 3 years)
Anonymous No.105680945 [Report] >>105687712
Miele are good but I can't go back to having to plug and unplug the the vacuum so I'm stuck with my Dyson which breaks constantly. Are any wireless vacuum not shit
Anonymous No.105681037 [Report]
Miele is obviously better. But from what I can tell, they and their spare parts are more expensive outside Germany and EU.

Miele is generally the best, but it's kinda like the audiophile headphones of appliances so diminishing returns

Bosch can be just as good for half the price often.

get a $30 chinky replacement battery for your dyson or an adapter to use superior power tool battery packs.

Unironically get dyson, this isn't even a reddit reccomendation, dyson is a bit of a meme but they make the best vacuums on the market and its not even close, get an adapter/mod a battery pack if you care about the short battery life.

nah I'm a cheap bastard 99% of the time but I'll buy genuine parts, even if it's a jew move, because saving $70-100 is not worth me wondering if my house is gonna burn down when I'm out of town

Never bought anything else. Whenever I see a vacuum at someone else’s house or department store that isn’t a Miele, it looks and feels cheap. Even if it’s a $500 Dyson (I would never stoop so low). Everything else becomes Great Value after you buy a Miele.

They aren’t cheap :(

Mine is a week old, lol. I've heard the older models were better built in regards to longevity but time will tell.
C3/S8 series is at least built in Germany, unless they do something different for third-world countries.

The tool battery is charged on the official charger, the adapter isn't involved.

Also you can just buy Bosch Ultimate instead, no adapter needed, runs on their tool batteries out of the box.

holy crap the c3 stuff (at least on amazon US) is 4 times more expensive than in Germoney
if you don't have that much money maybe it's a better idea to look into brands that are more common in the US
I bought my C3 for 250€ which already includes 19% VAT, you could get one last year for under 200 but I was too dumb to get one there
Anonymous No.105681416 [Report]
They are kinda good (as in, very reliable rather than innovative) but their power is crippled by Euro regulations. If you live in Europe go for it as the competition is equally crippled anyway. If you live outside Europe there are better options.
Anonymous No.105681454 [Report]
their secret is the bags and filtration, they're really good but expensive to the point you could buy a generic cheap vacuum with knockoff bags or a shitty plastic canister every 3 years
if you do the maintenance properly the motor won't see a single speck of dust in its lifetime, which is the #1 vacuum killer and it'll also perform as well as brand new always

unless you have some niche use case like bird dander or lots of cat hair any normal vacuum will do there isn't much of a difference except user handling. Old models used to be more powerful if you aren't in EU thats not a problem as well.

I have the bissel bagged zing.
Has been working since college years so yeah it has been 7 years. The short coming are short handles and can't automatically scrub hair out of carpet.
Don't vacuum wet stuff and the filter and motor will last. Bagless gets abused the most because of the idea of 0 maintenance.

I had the Complete C3 and loved it. Way better than my previous bag less Bosch. I've just moved country and I'm planning on getting another C3 matter how high the cost is.
The difference is night and day compared to other vacuums. I gave my C3 to my family who had a Karcher + Dyson stick and the floors were notably more clean after using the C3

Battery appliances are a shit idea in my opinion. You're (almost) guaranteed to have power at your home. The battery will degrade over time, but the motor lasts for a long time with proper use and care. And yea Miele, Bosch and Siemens are kings of vacuums. At least if you're looking for Eurocentric stuff and not American.

I've had my Miele canister for about 15 years now and beat the absolute shit out of it and its still going strong and lifting 3 huskies worth of hair off the carpets. Only thing I've had to replace was the brush head once, I must have ran it through something damp or corrosive at some point because the metal on it just started rusting badly one day, once the rust gave way to holes it fucked the suction up, so I had to replace it.
Oh, and I cracked the plastic lid on the wee compartment that keeps the hose end tools, but just epoxied that.

It's a turboreddit recommendation but it's still about as good as a vacuum cleaner gets
I've had mine for over five years, I have a golden retriever, a gf with long hair, and with only the most basic of maintenance it sucks like brand new, although the brushes on the rotating brush head thing are wearing out from me pulling all the fucking hair out of it with pliers, I already have another one spare that I got for pennies
I cannot recommend it enough, I wish I had bought mine two vacuums ago, I do sometimes wish that I had a small battery operated vacuum for small dusting jobs, but for doing the whole house a corded bagged vacuum like the c3 is still the best option imo, or at least it was the best option by a country mile when I bought mine

I'd say... get both. I have that exact Miele model for actually cleaning the whole house and a Samsung cordless&bagless for just vacuuming some bread crumbs from the kitchen floor.
But if you're looking to get only one, get the Miele. You can give that thing to your children when they move out and get another Miele to last you until grave.
