Dealing with developers, programmers, "engineers", FOSStards, and the broader open source community /alternative operating systems makes me really appreciate how well this guy was able to wrangle the average autistic engineer and put out a genuinely functional and easy to use product.
most spergs here have a disdain for "non technical" people but you're right, look at the state of Linux, THAT is what happens when you don't have guidance, granny infighting, pointless rewrites and forks, etc

True. Windows 7 was great too. But it seems no one even thinks about UX anymore. I honestly don't know what's going through peoples heads now.
Windows 11 is unrecognizable, just confusing and poorly optimized. Linux is well, cannibalizing itself over politics.
Steve Jobs has a quote, I don't remember it exactly. But it basically says they're saving lives by saving time (from tinkering and poor optimization). When all that wasted time adds up from so many people to the lifespan of a person, is that much different from death?
Not only has Apple stuck to a formula that works, but they're finally getting us past the flatshit dark ages with Liquid Glass. I never thought I'd be siding with the Apple shills, but they're doing everything right.
>>105681072 (OP)Most people in UX/UI in tech are frauds. Highly gatekept field based on nepotism, gone are the days where merit and actual UX expertise is valued. Jobs unitonically was a visionary and current Apple is nothing more than a money hungry beast dabbing on his grave.
Jobs was the only one to tell Johnny Ive and corporate board members to fuck off with their stupid ideas
>>105681376>choices are le bad, I need someone who will told me what I'm allowed to use and howyou're just a retard, not a "non-technical" person
>>105682465new iOS is a prime example of dogshit lmao
>>105682498you can literally turn that setting off and its not even on by default
>but that choice doesn't matter because..... IT JUST DOESNT OK
>>105682580yeah you can customize Linux to your liking as well
>but that choice doesn't matter because..... IT JUST DOESNT OK
>>105682754I don't mind Aero design when it's done well, which is clearly not the case here as it doesn't even pass basic WCAG contrast tests, but I'll laugh at iTards ruining their eyesight with this "innovation".
>>105681376foss attracts alot of people who are spergs who are not actually that smart, they just grind and have no idea what something good looks like, like having a bunch of mechanics design an engine.
