Does anyone ever do any tinkering on Chromium or is that just a Firefox thing? Because I really enjoy changing stuff and I found some changes very useful.
>>105692526 (OP) Not really need to do a lot of tinkering when there are that many popular forks. Firefox is starting to with Zen and Floorp. And like ricing, few people like to tinker with things.
>>105692635 Chromium's about:flags are quite limited compared to Firefox's about:config as well. But you can change settings for forks, it's not like you're forced to use the defaults, about:flags is still available. I'm not sure about userChrome.css though, I've never used it.
>>105692526 (OP) Chrome browsers use manifest v3 which is google telemetry spyware that disables the ability to disable finger printing. Avoid Chrome and manifest v3 based browsers at all cost.
>>105692925 I use Firefox as my main, but a Chromium backup is a necessity, unfortunately. Some sites simply refuse to work properly on Firefox. And I don't even mean the Google ones that are sabotaging Firefox with longer load times and the like.
