does anyone else have no fucking idea what they want to do for work? i always thought the answer would just come to me after college but all I really learnt in college was ITIL slop and basic object-based programming, I was big into embedded systems in high school but gave that up because the college course I wanted to do for it required classes I couldn't take, I've been working shitty tech support jobs and I really don't want to be here anymore but I have no idea where to start or what field to even get into that has long term stability, what do?

Ye i was the same. Did a career change from blue team security to python/java coding job at 29. Best decision i have ever made in my life.
In tech, it boils down to:

If this is what you want, do programming
Everything else is:
>im gonna have MS office open all the time, will be talking about nonsensical bullshit and pretend its important, will be sitting on meetings with boomers etc
