Phones have been capable of doing everything you need a phone to do for a decade, maybe except for the camera. Buying a new phone means you probably are getting less.

The hardware is really good for the price and they have headphone jacks/microSD slots.
Yeah the stock Moto android is shit and they have a 1 week timer on brand new devices before you can unlock the bootloader. That's why you should get a model compatible with LineageOS and install that. Motorola phones with a custom ROM are brilliant.
