Because python is a nocodie language, it doesn't matter if the code is right because it isn't anything useful or optimised anyway.

A compiler or interpreter can guess where a statement ends in order to make it syntactically correct, but it will likely not do what you intended, and since this autocorrecting algorithm will not be part of the language standard nor will it be identical amongst compiler vendors, this is what's known as undefined behavior.

fake and gay there's no semicolon usage in python and your imaginary child is not going to be using a linter. unless you are speaking about your own experience learning python as a person with the brain of an 8 year old

Html is fine. The issue is js and css. And the fact people are using it to make apps instead of documents. All the weird shit like self closing tags are actually well defined in the spec

Better yet, teach them to program with raw opcodes in hex.
Better yet, teach them to toggle transistors manually on a breadboard.
Better yet, teach them to etch silicon wafers and fabricate their own microprocessors.
Better yet, teach them to manipulate individual electrons with a scanning tunneling microscope.
Better yet, teach them to encode algorithms in the spin states of qubits using topological quantum computing.

Yeah, this.

>>> if something
File "<stdin>", line 1
if something
^
SyntaxError: expected ':'

How is the computer supposed to know if you meant to write "if something or other:". It just knows that the input given to it is incomplete, but not to what extent.

The computer doesn't "know".
Compiler can tell you what are the expected tokens in a particular context, but it sure as hell doesn't and cannot know what you want or were trying to express.
