Analog cameras back in the day had the feature that they put a timestamp (later even with the date) on the picture. Bad if you wanted nice pictures from your holidays without cropping them afterwards, nice if you wanted to document something.
And why wouldn't you just use the timestamp from the EXIF data?
The brainrot is real, computers were a mistake, we need to go back.
