The anaconda installer is a piece of shit. Download some old version of bazzite, which hopefully includes an installer that works on your system. Install, then update the installed system.

That fag calling himself founder makes his role sound much more important than it really is. Bazzite is 99% Universal Blue, the real work for that is done by by a guy called Jorge Castro. There are other ublue distros like Aurora and Bluefin that you can basically turn into Bazzite by installing the gaming packages.

Universal Blue distros are immutable and run containerised applications so it's nearly impossible to break your system. Bazzite (a ublue variant) is tweaked for gaming with a preconfigured gaming stack (steam, proton, wine, gpu servers m drivers) that works ootb. It's extremely easy with ublue to make your own images with github so you have your own immutable distro with the packages you want.
