what's the right way to do something like style transfer with kontext? when I use multi-image workflows the result still has the images stitched together when I just want it to be based on one of the images with the other as a reference

this is a really neat model, it does edits in the style of the original (if you dont specify a diff style) and can swap or change stuff faster than you'd be able to inpaint it/adjust denoise/etc.

example: indiana jones fate of atlantis cover: the ldg text is like the original text.

this will be a very useful tool for making edits or changing styles, or doing revisions to gens you make.

doing all this with inpainting would take forever, along with all the layers and stuff to get right, it's a good model. More importantly, it maintains the style unless you tell it to be a different style (ie: line art, painting, whatever)

If Civit is consistent with their Wan policy, ALL Kontext NSFW loras will be banned.

From my early testing, it seems you can train a NSFW lora in exactly the same way as you do Flux Dev. And then you can use it with Kontext image editing. Literally "the woman is nude and her pussy and tits are visible" and it works. Because of how easy this is, all the NSFW loras will get nuked just like Wan i2v porn loras.

Is there any way to do style transfer with Kontext? I can't see any way to input multiple images (so you can go "change image 1 to the style of image 2"). And just saying "change this to a painting" or whatever has terrible results. Even worse than omnigen.

I don't know why this keeps getting repeated, or what you guys are doing wrong if you're training flux and having difficulties. Flux trains faster and more robustly than almost all other models. Only Wan and maybe Cosmos Predict2 outclass it. Overall, Kontext is looking like it trains very similarly to Dev but I need to do more testing. So yes, it's good.

I guess kontext is better than nothing. Seems really good for just changing backgrounds. Once you start having it modify subjects it seems to have a really hard time preserving style or appearance.

I wanna make a lora for wan, I have a bunch of videos of a concept but they're 24 fps. Is using these to train wan going to result in slow motion? If so what do people do to get around this? Doesn't seem like there's that many 16 fps videos.

There's a way to set it to 16 fps without making it slow motion. You basically slice frames from the video and then tell the codec that it's at 16 fps. It doesn't change motion speed, only smoothness, given it now has less frames.

my guess is that software will improve before hardware like it has always done in the past, think compression software. I am old enough to remember using wav files and downloading them on 56k modem it took 10 minutes to download 1MB at that time and a 4 minutes song was like 40MB. I remember downloading my first online game that i played it was a mmo called neocron back in 2002, it was 600MB and took an entire week to download from game spy.

I would be glazing bfl if kontext dev was good, but it's not, it's excellent at simple editing but I don't care about that, I can do impaint editing by myself since 2022 and SD1.5, I was hyped by the character reference and it was dissapointing, for drawings it can't keep the style, for realistic shit the skin is way too slopped and plastic, and sometimes it makes manlet humans, it's not really a great model at all

not only that, but since Flux dev is using a VAE that only works per 12 pixels, it means that you can't only go for 1024 or 1012 pixels on width/height for example, if an image is at 1015 pixels of width you're fucked and you have to resize the image, it's really not as smooth plug and play as you might believe
