most functional languages use whitespace as indentation and i personally prefer it. no arguing about where to put the curly braces and the code just looks much "lighter" because it doesn't look like someone randomly thrown up curly braces randomly all over the screen. you are going to indent your code anyway why type curly braces on top? and if proper indentation causes you problems you should find another profession.
