This is why nobody takes desktop Linux seriously

Linux desktop had a chance when canonical tried seriously with Unity, mir, ... but gnome dark forces were too strong.
Sorry but you only need 1 1080p 144hz IPS 100% SRGB chink monitor with freesync, maybe 2 of the same model for $180 total.(I paid literally $75 for the above specs in 2022 on sale amazon prime) Anything else is consooomerism
Any other resolution is retarded and LMDE is all you need for personal computing and gaming
Telling Nvidia to pound sand and get fucked was the one (1) good thing the Wayland tards have ever done.
>>105740210 (OP)xorg is deprecated
most people are on xlibre now
There's already a proposal on Xlibre to fix this xD
https://github.com/X11Libre/xserver/issues/276
>>105740210 (OP)you really don't need that
what you do need is the gnome shaman
ms.holly will heal your soul with the spiritual power of the gnomes
>>105740210 (OP)You actually don't need that, though. And that would definitely be easier on X11.
>>105740210 (OP)X supports per monitor DPI information. If applications refuse to use the information how is it the fault of X.
>>105740282https://www.phoronix.com/news/Fedora-XLibre-Proposal-Withdraw
Xlibre is persona non grata everywhere
>>105740272Sour grapes. Not everyone in the world is as poor as you.
Blender3d will support hdr on wayland. X11 not even considered.

>>105740210 (OP)You literally do not need multiple monitors, the only people crying about Xlibre are unsurprisingly troons/nigger dick enthusiasts who want gooncave setups supported
>>105740328Ah Holly Million, my beloved.
>>105740430OPs picrel is talking about RH X11
>>105740210 (OP)>Want to move taskbar anywhere other than bottom of the screen>You don't need thatThis is why no one takes Windows seriously, they're just rejected GNOME devs at this point.
>>105740210 (OP)Can you explain the GPU point?
>>105740210 (OP)I've used a multimonitor setup with different refresh rates and DPI scaling like 7 years on X.
>>105740392and if you weren't poor yourself you would get a multi-monitor setup with matched displays. No mixed refresh rates, nor scaling needed. But I guess you can't do that when you're salvaging the crt from your grandma and 720p early lcd monitor from your dad.
>>105740272do you do anything all day besides shitpost and goon?
