You do realize that it's mostly just tracking Pajeet phone browsers that need to spoof their user agent to avoid blacklisting, right?
Hell look at the graph and you can quite literally see changes in the Unknown statistic (aka a browser useragent that is unrecognized, aka some jeet phonebrowser) being mirrored in the Windows statistic.

I was hoping this thread would have a healthy discussion about the fact that Linux has an abundance of developers but not many enough designers, and what could be done to address this?

I'm a non-gnome/kde plasma DE enjoyer and even I recoil at some of the design/art choices made for otherwise really good software. I then immiedtly install a theme and forget all about the nasty default look until some old GDK app decides not to use my theme.

I know some people call it "SOVL", but let's be real. "Dusty" is the most apt word for this. And it is jarring to see when you leave the clean and manicured gnome and kde spaces.

well, no worries, i can just go into the settings and - oh, there's no graphical setting for that. let's google it. hmm, every answer suggests copy and pasting a random leftist-meme abortion of a command into the terminal and praying that fixes it.
what does it do? well, it either fixes it... or it doesn't.
what if it does something i don't want? well, tough. it's roll the dice or have a broken system.
what if i want to undo it? well that's easy, all i have to do is read the incomprehensible textwall, work out what it does, and then write up a similar textwall undoing everything i've just done. wow, this is so much easier than in windows where i'd just click a button to put the setting back the way it was before.
