I've been a GNU/Linux user for a little over 8 years now and I can't help but to rant about one of the biggest issues plaguing the Open Source Desktop Operating System Community as a whole.
I'm not entirely sure on what I should begin with but when other Linux users tell others (Windows Users) to switch to Linux, one of their primary reasons is that it's light weight and there is less bloat than on Windows which is stupid because anyone who uses Windows can easily debloat their system by editing the registry and using tools randoms put up on GitHub.
The only reason to get others to switch to Linux I feel like is security, you basically have full control of your system and its processes but that only really matters if you're an esl pedo.
Every Distro of Linux I have used is basically the same and they all have their unique bugs and issues because some distros decide to use pipewire, some choose to use pulseaudio, some decide to use wayland, some decide to use xorg, some even let you decide but even with the decision of the user the stability and usability of their Linux system is never guaranteed.
Why doesn't the Open Source Community work together on one major Operating System Project, it can be based on whatever... I am pretty sure that the Open Source Community hasn't come to this because of their Pride and Selfishness and so they all run their own projects like these many DISTROS that I keep seeing pop up, there's like 5 new ones every year and they are all horrible.
In order for the Open Source Community to come together and to make one big successful Operating System Project that they can all contribute to there needs to be structure because the current Open Source landscape lacks that structure.
Half of the Open Source landscape right now is controlled by large companies like Red Hat and IBM.
On another note, behead Rust trannies, the open source community is full of faggot pedophiles like stallman who I've talked to. Thank you.
