I have an iPhone 13 Pro which I bought from my service provider. It was sold with sim-lock. I requested the unlock and the SP sent me an email about the process. It says I have to put the new sim card into the phone then connect it to a computer with iTunes and I need to synchronise the phone. They say that will unlock my phone.
Today, before I started this process I check the lock on my phone and it was not there. I put my niece's sim in and I made a call. So it seems the lock is really unlocked now.
I don't really understand what happened? Is that synchro process via iTunes really necessary or it was a false information from SP?
