sup /g/oys i have massive problem
>buy new pc
>win 11 on it, at first try games freeze
>task manager cant shut them down and gets frozen itself
>have to restart and force apps(task manager included) to shut down
>install 10
>works fine
>decide to install next month(clean)
>it has same issue again
apparetly it wasnt bad win11 and maybe it was hardware issue. im assuming its ssd or ram. anyone had similar problem?
and its not potato either

i had a similar problem waaaay back in 2019, with win 10
freezes and instability
it was a hardware configuration problem

in your case i think its a configuration problem too, not defective hw
otherwise you would have had issues with w10 too

no, not bottlenecks
theres a variety of options for your hardware
part of the configuration sits in your os
some of it is set in your bios

in my case it was "high precision event timing"
which i had to switch off
but im pretty sure thats not gonna be your fix
have a bump, maybe someone knows
in any case, i dont think its a "hardware problem" as in somethings broken, or too slow
i think its a matter of bios/windows configuration
or a common micro$hit L and their retarded deployement model

the overarching solution?
i installed loonis lamao
fixed everything. had to learn how to cli doe
but that amounts to be able to ctl c ctrl v commands from the internet without fucvking up to be honest + a couple simple commands
>>105747190
this doesnt really fit the behaviour
or does it?
if you have a psu problem you will experience freezes during gaming
and said freezes should occur as much in w10 as w11
because psu problems are related to power draw (duh) and your gpu draws the most
an os however is cpu heavy

actually
now that my brains mobilized a wee bit
its not a freeze that you should see but either a restart or your screen going black and your fans ramping up

(cont.)
or freezes now that i thought some more abt it
i had the exact issue of psu not providing enough juice
but since i was missing something like 100w the result wasnt freeze as in, gpu is still trying but gives up, but a hard undervolt fault
thats why it tripped the fault-mode of sutting everything down and running fans to the max

'should be enough, no?
theres a 700 in the zm700
also yeah
dont cheap out on your psu
if the cpu is the heart then the psu is the circulatory system

idk if its enaugh for whole case, that should be consumed all by gpu when i run game. but idk why it wont shut down them via task manager afterwards.

nah, its enough
also when they say "600w+" its not 600 that goes into your gpu lel
a 6600 takes around 140w
its not a psu problem, im telling ya
i bet its some bullshit config option in your cpu and it triggers a fault when your cpu gets a specific interrupt or something
really: os stuff
m$ft done did fuck up with w10 in a very similar fashion
you couldnt run w10 on an fx8350 bc of the above mentioned high precision event timing thing lamao

>>105747338
yeah, told ya
what did change in between installs?
config the same
hw the same

its a weird interaction bw w11 and your hw bc micrshit are stunning and brave like that

>tf do i even do install win 10 and suck it up then
yeah i guess
and try again in a couple months
or drop your machine on the shop's lap and tell em to fix their product

going from no experience to daily driving linux is a bad experience
but maybe you shoudl consider trying linux out in a virtual machine once you fix your rig

you dont have this kind of problems with linux
but you have different ones, esp when it comes to gaming
actually, in modern times
pretty much the *only problems youre gonna encounter on linux are gayming-compatibility related

btw could it be because it was cracked version. but plenty of legit users seem to have same problem on adobe forums. i guess ill try trial
