Ask yourself what your use case is and what software you’ll be running. Do you need modern Windows or will this be a Linux box? Is your pic related and you wanna play emulators on it? A used Dell Optiplex or even a new Raspberry Pi 5 used as a desktop would both be good and inexpensive options for the task.
