There's no fix, just open multiple videos and watch one while another loads. Videos also now randomly stop when ads are supposed to play.

No it doesn't. Maybe you just didn't encounter the issue, it doesn't happen for every video. And Firefox is particularly gimped by YouTube and Google in general.

god people really do this? Just use mpv and the ffmpeg range request fix. Loading the entire video is literally instant, and so is seeking. I can't believe how bad seeking is in the web player.

I have similar question - recently noticed that each time I try to enter music-related video from either search or right panel recommendations, link automatically include part that make it generate "mix" playlist, always with completely irrelevant videos that automatically plays after previous video ends. So I have to either manually delete part of link after opening it, wasting time, or monitor video and pause just before it ends or be greeted by some shitty pop music after classic rock song ends.

Any way to get around that?
