This is highly dependent on what you find useful, but I guess I'll answer with what I've found useful. I would make tool holders for peg boards

Looking around my room, there are caps on the Edsal shelving (12x) to keep me from tearing open my leg or arm, an anti-tip base for my yeti knockoff tumbler, a riser for my trackball, and an infinity cube.
All of these could have been purchased for less than the cost of a 3D printer but I do have things in other rooms that either are custom items or I printed because I already have the printer so why not use it instead of buying a premade solution also made out of plastic?
As for if you should get one, if you have doubts, then don't do it. Either buy it because you want it as a hobby item to tinker with or because you have a specific purpose in mind. Buying one just because others have one is a waste.

1. If you have Edsal shelves and don't stack them, you can print end caps for them
2. If you have a Stanley/Yeti type tumbler, you can print a base to keep it from being easy to knock over
3. If you have a trackball and don't like the angle, you can print a riser to put it at a more comfortable level
4. If you have ADHD, autism, or another condition that makes you fidget, you can print an infinity cube to keep your fingers occupied
5. If you use Daisy sour cream in a tube, you can print a roller for it
You're welcome.
