There are definitely people in that thread who know their stuff, but the problem is that every other poster is there fresh off finishing their first udemy course or a couple years into their undegrad, and they can't wait to tell you about their imaginary job at Google. I've had multiple conversations on there with people who claimed several years of experience, yet they'd present dogshit taste and stop replying when I called them out. Now I hardly use that general, but when I do, I assume every poster is a dumbass larper until proven otherwise.
