feature creep

On every update they add a bunch of unnecessary bullshit features that nobody uses and all they do is up the memory+cpu usage.

enough is enough. This shit was started ages ago as a ""lightweight"" kinda version of VS Studio, that can do minimum features with basic languages.

Now it's on the trajectory to be as fully fledged (and slow) as VS Studio.

I remember using VSCode for some basic TS/JS projects years ago on a 8GB ram laptop and it was fine.
The latest versions of this on the same 8GB laptop are slow as fuck. The interface chugs, nothing feels snappy, the intellisense is sleeping half the time I need it and lags for seconds before doing anything. etc.

It's a fucking mess. Fucking yikes.
I am this close to learning VIM
