I'm on dutasteride and ru58841 and it's certainly slowed down, maybe every halted my balding but it hasn't reversed anything yet. There are other, more powerful anti-androgens in development but I think that approach will only work if you start a lot earlier than I did - ideally before you notice any shedding at all. I plan on getting a hair transplant in the future, assuming I can determine I've hated further shedding. I'm hoping hair cloning technology advances by then so I can implant new hair follicles rather than just moving existing ones.
