Also for this general specifically, we have literally unironically not a joke not a Reddit meme not an exaggeration been living in the cyberpunk dystopia ever since Luigi's Mansion happened and the tech CEOs sat closed to trump at the inauguration than the politicians did. Discussing cyberpunk is just discussing real life now

Like seriously, "palantir building a surveillance network for Israel" is /cyb/ as fuck but that's just a normal news article nowadays. Reality is often disappointing and cyberpunk was always an aesthetic that was detached from reality but now it's kinda gotten "icky"
