it's worse than you think, "they" got a map of all wifi access points with ip and location, and even if you're on vpn if some app can see your wifi environment it can pinpoint you on the map quite precisely, thanks to your retarded neighbors sharing all their data. probably most wifi routers are unique ID beacons with a gps location (based on the phones connected to them)
