oh. i didn't even know vpn's could block utorrent's ads lol. uhh it's open source, utorrent's company is a bit shady imo and they have a closed source model for utorrent.

qbittorrent has a similar UI if that's what you're concerned about btw, it was easy for me to make the switch so there's my two cents.

Why worry about it at all? I just max it. It's nice to never have to ask myself "Wait, do I maybe need more?" because I can't have more anyway.

You say like ram is the most expensive thing in the world. 16 GB is enough for 99% of people.
Only poor people buy things that they don't need

I've got the habit to always close the unneeded tabs or move it to a separate Tab Group (like Trash and remember to finish working on them and close them).

It seems like one of those ye old tales from back in the day when SSDs were rather new. These days it's suppose to be fine to leave on more or less. I tried turning it off once some years ago and I kept getting blue screens. But pretty sure that was with Windows 7.
I installed two nvme drives at the same time on this PC, one Samsung and the other WD. The Samsung has W11 on it and it's now 97% at health, according to crystaldisk, where the WD is still at 100%. Of course they're different drives so it's kind of hard to say if it's because the Samsung has the OS installed on it and due to having page file enabled or if it would have happened regardless.

If you have abundance of RAM, Windows shouldn't be using much page file to begin with outside of maybe hibernating.
