The reality is that AMD is the one that isn't making any cards. AMD does not want to compete in the discrete GPU market. They should license their technology and patents to a company that does.

The only way this makes sense is that no one is buying AMD GPUs for prebuilts. MLID said last video that 9070XTs are selling one to one with 5070s in retail. if prebuilts make up 70% of GPU market, then that could be true and they wouldn't show up on Steam hardware survey and AMD could still lose market share. if AMD is getting slaughtered in prebuilts.
