The timeshift is my proudest achievement. On around 95% of my channels, I can watch anything that's been on over the last two weeks. I can arrange a list of shows and go watch them at my leisure. You can see (if you squint your eyes) a little click symbol beside each of the channel's show listings.

Use Stremio for streaming torrents anon, I have it on my fire stick for my family and it works fantastic. I keep some stuff locally cached on a Jellyfin server for stuff that would be cumbersome or risky to download repeatedly (SpongeBob, Ren and stimpy, mst3k, other westoid cartoon shit for my family that American companies are trigger happy to sue you for), and that works great.
