>>105805861I found one of these in the dumpster a few years ago, and I've been using it without any significant issue ever since. I just had to add some grease to allow the lens to move freely, and I've also replaced the thermal paste behind the LED module as it was starting to get a bit dry. As I didn't want to use AAA batteries, I put an 18650 in it, and it seemed to work well enough after I made a thick tube out of paper to keep it well aligned, since the tube is wider than an 18650. I'm sure that a 26650 battery would fit perfectly, but I didn't have any on hand. The button developed intermittent contact issues at some point, so I opened it and cleaned out the corrosion. Ideally, I should have added some dielectric grease, but I didn't have any left.
