pony is absolute dogshit compared to current anime models and chroma. laughable to suggest we haven't made significant advances past pony.
I tried using Pony again recently, for old time's sake, and it couldn't understand half of the tags I routinely use with illus and noob.

You know what's funnier? The fact better tools still cannot make up for someone being an absolute shitter. It's amazing how bad some of the modern gens are compared to stuff we used to see back in the early days of img gen.

The issue is that I need to start researching tags.
The character must be in a doggy style position, with both elbows on the ground, face close to the drawing, eyes focused on it (this is tricky since SDXL struggles to render pupils that look at a target beyond the viewer or a specific spot).
One hand should be holding the pen while the other is clenched into a tight fist, showing visible tendons.
There are many more gestures to consider.
The problem is that this feels tedious because it is stiff as hell.
Generating another image will result in a design that’s 99% like the previous one due to the overload of tags, leading to a predetermined outcome.
There’s no breathing space, no variations, and no fresh ideas for reimagining the scene.

Maybe because Pony uses different prompt techniques than IL?
But even IL hasn't moved much past the core abilities of SDXL. It can produce better anime and knows more concepts but the image composition abilities are basically the same and unchanged since SDXL. Flux can do more in regard of prompt-to-composition but it sucks on other fields and too is already almost 1 year old.

Sirs im learning about AI and read the getting started guide but i still have questions.

What is the main motivation for running these models local? Just for fun? do you plan to work with that? learning? being able to create porn?

So, I couldn't get any AI image generation programs to work on my AMD Linux machine. I talked to Chatgpt and got a setup that actually works. With my setup, I can only get AMD GPU acceleration when using a python script. Take a look at this and critique it. It works, it'll batch generate images, but it seems to always go overkill on the Lora even if I put the lora weight to zero or a negative value, I think Chatgpt is wrong about it. Let me know if there's anything I can improve with this. Does anyone even know where you can go to find the python API for diffusion? Also, I found that "Prompt 2" was completely overriding Prompt.

actually I lied I guess I will upload the xerbatt lora. and the one closest is probably 1mop1cs but it ends up looking a bit more over-exposed compared to xerbatt just because it actually mixes fairly well with other stuff, even if I'm not much a fan of it standalone.
either way like I said, there's a pv in each directory. I'd recommend just looking through to see what you want. There's a few digital sketch oriented and then a bunch of different types of digital faux traditional media type artists.
