So, I currently live in Germany. I am proficient in Go and Rust. The job I have is meh, but what really bothers me is how unstable Germany is. I see a lot of Russophobia and worryingly, I hear more and more common threats of nationalists - things like TZD, etc.
I am legitimately concerned about my safety - so I am moving.
I found this beautiful country that is just leaving NATO as we speak. Surely this will be a good environment for a Russian programmer who is willing to spend endless nights contributing to society he lives in?

Russia is okay and we owe our existence to them. Slovenia and Russia are sister nations and for better or worse, modern Slovenia is a product of the Russian Bolshevik Revolution in 1917, both Slovenia and Russia are still ran by those same people

Slovenia is leaving NATO? Since when did that happen? No one ever leaves NATO, when a country joins NATO it means they are fully compromised by America.

Go move to Serbia or Georgia or Moldova, if you really must live in a country subject to Russian military pressure to be happy, you're just coping hard with picking Slovenia. Even if Slovenia leaves NATO they're completely encircled by NATO members and have open borders with all of them due to EU membership so they'll still have to play ball just as much as somewhere like Switzerland does.
