Why do Linuxcels claim Windows is a bad environment for development?
>i-it doesn't even come with a compiler?
Took me 5 minutes to install gcc, yet they pretend like it's some arcane deal breaker like huh?
STOP LYING!

Not a serious OS.

Trying to get clang working outside of Visual Studio (not VSCode) is a huge fucking pain, though.

The amount of schizophrenic shit I see of people using WSL to do what can easily be accomplished with native mingw binaries is obscene. Operating systems are not magic and Windows ships with a libc. Almost everything can just be built for Windows. Before the WSL schizos it was the cygwin schizos. Always making everything as retarded and complicated as possible. People still use PuTTY despite Windows shipping ssh since 2014.

Sudo apt install gcc or sudo apt-get install build-essential

I installed Linux after Windows did retarded shit with my gnu compilers.

Also, use the Microsoft compiler.

Sorry sperg, I only use serious and user friendly OSes, like Ubuntu 24.10. I don't have time to figure out how the terminal works.

Okay now install some libraries and compile a program with them.
