On temu they sell USB-C to HDTV adapters.
Does it mean HDMI?
Because as far as i know, HDTV is not a type of port, but a television standard.

It is usually recommended not to rely on pictures, because the item will not be the same.
But you are right that it seems to be a HDMI in the pic.
I am currently using an ASUS TUF GAMING A15, so do I have output over USB-C?

Apparently you need to kind of docking station, as basic USB-C to HDMI will not work...

Chinks don't usually care about this (based), but maybe they're not saying HDMI for licensing issues. It does look like HDMI and probably is.

It's HDMI but they're not calling it that because they didn't pay the licensing fee.

There's essentially two ways for USB-C to HDMI to work.
One is within the USB spec, and phones/tablets usually have it while PCs/laptops don't.
The other is Thunderbolt.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's technically no such thing as HDMI over USB-C. It's actually DisplayPort over USB-C, that gets converted to HDMI.

It never saw any significant adoption.

Almost every USB-C to HDMI adapter you see is actually using DisplayPort and then converting it to HDMI.
