/g/ bros, which monitor are u using?
Alienware OLED, actually easy to find massively discounted on Amazon as used or a regular discount if you check frequently. Literally changed my life

it's that simple

2 of them. No I don't game. Want to upgrade to something with a higher refresh rate but I haven't really seen anything that matches, besides the Acer XB323QX thats coming later this year.

Right now I'm flipping them trying to land a unit without the coil whine/buzz issue

Asus G32UCDP
I use the dual mode 4k@240hz to 1080p@480hz button regularly so it was worth it

Alienware AW2724DM
It's decent enough. I'd love an OLED but I'd want a five-year warranty. I also need to use my monitors for work so burn-in is a risk.
>>105840948How is IPS black?
I got a regular IPS Ultrasharp from 2007 and one from 2019 and I was sad to find out there is no difference between the two when it comes to contrast and black uniformity.
>>105840162 (OP)3*pg279q. One is broken so I have to run it at 60Hz.
>>105841072I'd honestly be more interested if the second mode had high refresh rate 1440p, instead. I can't go back to 1080p, not even for muh shooters :(
i got an Anus ProArse
worst backlight bleed i've ever seen
weird fucking grid lines when night light turns on
yeah it's 16:10 and 75Hz, but fuck me it's bad
>>105840162 (OP)PG32UCDM.
>>105840231How cheap and where did you get it?
I feel like I'm seeking the impossible.
>must be 1080p
>high Hz
>good for both gaming and colors for video/photo editing
Either it's always 4K or it's only good for the editing and not gaming or vice versa.
>>105843154there's no point going for 1080p nowadays
it's below budget-tier
>>105843619I bought this a few years ago as my secondary/to try as my main because I also like 16:10, but I already had 1440 which looked a bit better, and now I have 4K 144hz so I can't justify using it unfortunately.
>>105843154You are, get two monitors nigga
Thinking of buying that one 1440p 27" AOC one but idk. It would be an upgrade from what I have but I can't tell how big or marginal it would be.
LG 32'' Ultragear QHD 165Hz HDR10. i don't feel like any monitor is out there that's worth upgrading for. maybe if a decent non-gayming oled display was a thing. maybe the LG UltraGear 32GS95UE.
>>105843219>>105843709My current card is capable of 4K but won't do well at it, so I'm trying to stay at 1080p.
>it's another online retards fight about which of their shitty corporate products are best episode
i just switched from 23 inch monitor to a LG Ultragear 27inch 1080p, 144hz. Everything feels so big I don't like. Should I just get a better 24inch at 1080 or 1440p?
