What programming language do I need to make my custom phone OS?

My friends and I are up to some serious """""mischief""""".
We need a secure way to communicate. This is serious business.

I was thinking of making my own phone OS and install it on our devices.
It doesn't need to be fancy. Just able to send and receive simple messages (they're coded anyway).

If you are willing to go through the effort of learning a language from scratch and making an entire phone OS you might want to consider the simpler solution of running something like Kali on a pinephone (or maybe a chinese device) and encrypting your communications with something like GPG with private keys that you share only in person over whispers

I honestly find that IF you want to communicate securely, just use whatsapp to send messages that you encrypted on paper using a book cypher, triple encrypting it (for extra security). That way, the government will burn a shit tone of money, trying to decrypt your shitposts.
