No thumbnails in the Cinnamon file picker.
Nemo (file manager app) cannot sort by date created outside of list mode.
Pressing Alt doesn't select items in an application's menu bar without also pressing an underlined letter first.
Touchpad inertia/coasting scroll cannot be disabled or even suppressed without rolling back to an old Ubuntu driver that causes double right click.
Ugly theme choices with little variety; boring black or white.
Tiny, microscopic scrollbars without arrows. Scrollbar overlay toggle is inconsistent. Doesn't snap back when moving the cursor away.
Active- and inactive- window titlebars are indistinguishable.
Tiny circular close button that cannot be clicked when the pointer is in the screen's top right corner of a fullscreen application.
Blueman-manager (Bluetooth app) crashes constantly.
Drawing (paint app) hangs and gives errors when using the (hidden, lol) paint bucket tool.

I've been dual booting Mint and Windows 10 for a year now. I've reached a point where I haven't booted into Windows in three months. I'm thinking of finally wiping my Windows drive clean and installing another distro, as I have no more use for Windows.
It was a good run, I'm a Windows user since 3.11 (yeah I'm old), but it's time for me to finally let it go.

The GTK file picker that Cinnamon uses is dogshit in general, this is the only thing from your list that really bothers me.
Another thing that annoys is how on Nemo, the sorting method is saved globally across all folders and not individually, per folder like on Windows Explorer. Some folders I wanna sort by modification date, others by name, etc. Gnome minimalistic style really hinders Cinnamon in some ways.

I have had the exact same experience with Mint. It just werks, I have to question the motivation and/or intelligence of anybody that says it doesn't.

The distro itself is a bit overrated, but I understand the appeal of it, it truly just works. Mint users are retarded though.
>>105846276 (OP)
That's more of a GTK issue rather than Cinnamon or Linux Mint, which I agree is retarded but you can blame Guh-nome for that.

See above
>Pressing Alt doesn't select items in an application's menu bar without also pressing an underlined letter first.
False
>>105848297
>the sorting method is saved globally across all folders and not individually
Why lie? it literally saves your sorting preferences per folder by default, with the opposite being an option in the settings.

unironically besides use for gaming this is actually what it advertises to be, the only gay issue i had was that my wifi dongle driver didnt work but you can just install alternative ones for your chipset.
