>OIS motor for the rear camera is busted
>battery has 550 cycles on it
>too poor to replace it
What else can I do to prolong its limited lifespan? I've done some tweaks with Savertuner, the brightness is set to 15% all the time, I'm running GrapheneOS without Google services, yada yada yada
As of right now I get 10 hours of SoT at best, which tbf is a lot better than the 4 i was getting on the stock ROM. But her battery is getting weaker by the day, and every once in a while the phone randomly reboots with no warning.

Is there anything else I can do? I really don't want to go back to a shitty Motorola.

cute twink arms, op :3
i mean uh- but to answer your question, there's an option to limit the charge rate to 80%, also something called "adaptive battery" I just leave it on and it learns from your charging patterns. also battery health assistance but that should be enabled by default. I'm not sure if grapheneos has these features so it wouldn't hurt to check.

some say running oled saver / screen dimmer app is more effective way to dim for battery purposes. imo the overlay apps dimming looks better at low brightness value than the dimmer built in so you can run at lower brightness with less visual quality hit

My pixel 3 has 1400 cycles on it and it's fine. You're all mentally ill if you think you need 10 hours of screentime or whatever

Why do you need to stay 10 hours on your phone you fucking retard? Go outside you look pale and weak as fuck. I don't get more than one hour a day of screen time on my shitty iPhone SE, precisely because I use it as an actual phone, to call and text people

It depends how deep average discharge is.
Battery can withstand thousands full capacity discharges if they're shallow and only hundreds if they're deep.

use case? you can literally buy a xiaomi with android 15 for under 100 USD. you could buy one every three years instead of keeping old slop that isnt meant to last anyway with bootleg thirdparty firmware installed on it.

>Pixel 3 through Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel Fold: Should retain up to 80% capacity for about 800 charge cycles, after which battery replacement is recommended.
You'll get another year out of that battery.

I'm in the market for a phone that's under $250 and I've heard nothing but praise about XIAOMI, But upon further research, it appears that they don't even operate on my carrier, which is Verizon.

...does this retard really not know that the pixel 6a has a battery recall going on and you can get 100$ or a free battery replacement for free?
you could've filled the form instead of making this retarded post, your phone is clearly one of the affected ones with an extremely shit battery.
I guess this confirms my theory that they don't send the warning email to custom rom users (which will never receive the battery crippling update and thus will have their battery explode on them without notice), interesting.

I will never understand what this humiliation ritual you americunts have is about
...why do you need your phone to... operate on your specific carrier? what does that even mean
I buy any phone, get any sim card, put it in, it works, I don't understand how/why it's different in the us?

actually you don't even run a custom rom? dunno why I assumed you did when i wrote that post, I'm a bit retarded rn sorry
but yeah check if you're eligible
if you are not, wait for it to swell, send pics to google support, they'll send you a new phone even out of warranty.
