MS windows works on standard x86 CPUs
there isn't a great variety of crapple phones and the whole crapple ecosystem is managed by a single company and that's their whole business. also, crapple has enough resources to maintain its own hardware (that was literally designed by themselves)
both crapple and MS distribute their own OS
finally, google has to support a great variety of (ARM, non-standardized) hardware (none of which is produced by them and most is not sold by them) AND software configs. it's not even THEIR OS (Linux as a project is managed/owned by a collective of individuals and companies).

you can sideload apps on android phones, google let you update apps like chrome, maps etc on 3-5 years old versions of android.

apple is the opposite if your iOS is 2 years old, 90% of apps won't update anymore and you can't install new ones because all of them require the newest iOS.
