>all (AMO)LED phone screens are just a second away from getting a green and pink lines and there is nothing you can do to prevent it

How can you live in peace knowing this fact?

I don't understand what you people do with your phones that they break all the time. My Pixel 4a is almost 5 years old and works the same as when I got it the first day. A few scratches, but literally no other issues.

If your phone cost 1200$ you are going to be traumatized when it breaks. If you are clumsy and drop your phone often, they make 40$ phones too.

point is, you don't have to drop or handle it badly for those lines to appear. It is like a lottery.

I've been using OLED screens since 2011. I've never seen this happen unless the phone got damaged in some way or another. It doesn't just happen, there's a reason for it to happen.

How about you research about it for a bit before you waste your country's electricity to post retarded takes.

I don't need to research it dipshit, OLEDs don't just fail without a reason, every time some retard posted about their screen having lines some fantastically retarded shit had happened to the phone before.

It's either dealing a literally shitty $200 chink phone or a figuratively shitty $200 brand new chink phone.

>they all are somehow inferior to their last year previus generation (trade war maybe?)

Cheap phones don't use oled displays and ironically last longer than their pricier counterparts.

I finally have this happen to my chink phone after over 8 years. Previously it survived several falls and a (perfectly working) cracked screen for another 2 or so years. But the last two times I dropped it, the lines appeared and now it's a steep downward spiral. It's like watching an old relative die of cancer. And from what I read, replacing the display is unlikely to fix it.
First it was one vertical stripe, then 3, then the upper part got green vertical stripes, then black dots appeared and then I dropped it again and now the screen is milky and the entire upper right edge is black.

Still gonna use it till the end though and will probably just move on to a flip phone afterwards.

Just judging by experiences from other people with the same problem that I googled. I might just try anyway after the screen fully died.
