How do we force FOSS devs to make their software compatible and reliable instead of every single one of them inventing their own configuration formats and changing them (without backward compatibility) on every update constantly breaking stuff?

You could become a contributor or fork them and keep them compatible and reliable
You are prepared to put in the work, right? You're not just trying to get other people to work for free?

FOSS is about doing whatever the fuck you want, and not stopping others from doing whatever the fuck they want. Doing whatever the fuck other people want, that you do not want to do, is called employment

Most important FOSS contributors are working under employment.

You can't do that, because I don't want my code to be used without a share-alike licence. You can make your code and do whatever the fuck you want, or you can respect my license and use my code however the fuck you want but share your modifications

you're not going to do anything because you just consoom and complain. But if it's licensed for that, then it's licensed for that. Nobody is stopping you.

tough shit, you are “stopping others from doing whatever the fuck they want”, which goes against your precious tenant uttered mere moments ago.

And they're stopping me from doing what I want with my code - to prevent my work from being used selfishly. Since we can't both have what we want at the same time, my wishes take precedence because it's my code

Cope.

nope.
if i put my full name and number on the internet, people can use them however they would wish.
Same goes for your code.
Don’t like it? Obfuscate it and don’t share it.

Copyleft exists to remove the threat of malicious IP trolls and Embrace, Extend, Extinguish bullshit that would otherwise tear through the industry like crack through a ghetto.
Copyleft would not need to exist if Copyright wasn't a massive grift.
