Is there a clever way to attaching a grill to a fan that's easy to remove for cleaning? I have to unscrew all four screws every time I want to access the dust filter, which is in between. Any ideas?

Use only 2 screws diagonally or get some kind of magnetic 2-part screws that probably exist idk.

It can't possibly take more than 30 seconds to unscrew the grill and another 30 to screw it back on, how often are you cleaning your filter?

>needs to clean wads of dust out of an aperture with 5mm gaps

Get some 60 mesh make a detachable frame with magnets that goes over the top of the grills.
Better yet why not make a CR box for area filtering your dusty shithole? PWM controller + merv 13 + your choice of fans, you fucking filthy mutt.
