Unironically comfy.
I removed the rollers.
The mouse sometimes rests on the left or right armrest, sometimes near the keyboard on the table.
I can rest my legs on my large table, on the floor, or on a foot rest under the table.
I've been doing this for almost 20 years.
Nothing ever feels sore or strained.

Norgecuck here too, the chairs available here are dogshit, I got a sharkoon c30m which is better than most trash here but it sucks for drawing and the steps for the tilt is uncomfortable for me.
>$3000 for an aeron and can't find a single one on the used market, and importing one from the netherlands would easily cost $1500
Fuck this shit, isn't there anyone who makes decent aeron clones?

Anyone ever consider just getting a barber chair? I thought about getting a massage chair with a zero-g function but sitting in those all day sounds way too sweaty

Tjele was the best chair, with Kastjberg being second. Maybe Jysk is not the place to look for chairs though lol

Regular padded office chair, probably 15 years old by now.
I regret taking apart the hand rests and tossing them, on the hunt for replacement ones now.
I was looking into these ergonomic mesh chairs but this video turned me off them:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJXM6on6WEw
TL;DW they're mostly designed to be comfortable when you're sitting properly, and that's not me.
So now that I've decided to stick with my chair I'm going to do some maintenance
>clean the fabric
15 years of stains and gunk, any amount of cleaning would be good.
>de-squeak
I've already lubed it up a couple of times but it never lasts too long because the only oil I have around is some thin silicone spray, gonna get some heavy duty grease (white lithium?) and treat it right.
>handrests
just gonna get some used ones, on the hunt for chairs people throw out or give away.

This doesn't have a head rest, isn't it uncomfortable? Doesn't seem like it has a lot of padding either

No. It's somewhat better than chink chairs but is much more costly. Buy only if you can afford it.

I had xiaomi ergonomic chair (which costs $400). Compared to it, Aeron remastered _feels_ like $600.

Colamy Atlas is great overall, check it out.

Colamy Neza has a flexible back like the Embody, but it's not as good otherwise. The Embody is great if money is not an issue, but the 300-400 USD range is quite amazing these days.

I memed the Markus for years. It was great for the price and one of the few cheaper options if you weren't a manlet.
Last year I had to buy a new one since my old on was breaking down after almost 20 years. The price had gone up, not that surprising, and the amount of padding in the seat has clearly been reduced.
I always felt it was a fine chair but just needed some more high end features. With this new one it's in that weird spot where it's not quite bad enough to replace but I sure as hell am not buying another one.

The atlas looks nice. It's sold out, and I'm not sure if they ship to leaf land.
Also I wouldnt be able to sit on it before i buy it.
My main requirement is that i want to sit on one before i buy it.
My current chair i bought online without sitting on it and i never really liked it (Autonomous Ergochair 2)
Stores around me either sell house brand garbage like staples, walmart, and costco. Or its a high end office supply store that sells steelcase, haworth, and hermin miller.
I also want a headrest.

I tried the steelcase gesture (pic related) and it seemed like a winner but just wasnt that comfortable for me. The armrests are goated but the rest is pretty underwelming. The headrest as decent adjustability but its not very comfortable

I also tried the steelcase leap which was more comfortable but no headrest.
