You can arbitrarily write anything you want to the metadata.
But it is at least somewhat worth noting that the cameras were analog >>105875074 which means they're probably not recording metadata to begin with.
It's entirely likely that they had to digitize it in order to release it, and that the timeframe was recorded in more than one segment, so putting them together into one file is not surprising.
However, that doesn't explain why there is a minute missing and other discrepancies in the footage.
