You would think this 20 year old meme would finally be over, but no, Mint is still keeping it going strong in 2025. Maybe even into 2026?

Yes, that's why it's consumer friendly and robust, not a toy

I installed it on Arch with Cinnamon, and it seems to work.
Don't ask me how to get it on Mint.

as someone who has installed both LFS and gento., I recommend Fedora KDE for people who don't want to tinker/modify/program/etc their system.

or anything with KDE(like kubuntu), really.

Fedora doesn't come with basic codecs and had another weird quirk for me. Agree on KDE though. Arch KDE with archinstall script, basically zero tinkering.

that's where you add the rpm fusion repository
>wine
and the winehq repository
>Arch KDE with archinstall script, basically zero tinkering.
still... it's arch, it's gonna break at some point(unless the user is smart and makes backups before updating, but still gonna have to update it anyways) or require the user to manually maintain it. and every AUR packages require manual intervention.
