I don't get their mindset. They already won the browser war, why wouldn't they just try to maintain the status quo? Why are they so hellbent on making chrome worse with every single update? They are just driving people away from their product, it makes ZERO sense.

Pajeets. The answer is always pajeets. Pajeets ruined everything. They are not human. They are dark creatures created by aliens or demons to destroy humanity.

The point of them winning the browser war was to help control the web and be able to show more ads. It makes PERFECT sense.

Browsers, Chrome, and Google Search are becoming obsolete. The race is now on to get people and businesses addicted to their LLMs and other “AI” services over all other channels of information, and have near-total control over public discourse and policy.

Because India needs American companies to keep the H1B system active as it is the only way to decrease fecal levels in home country

in a leaked google shit, they admitted that they make their products worse so it takes longer for people to use which in turns makes people look at ads more.

Google and their like may still be profiting much from filling the landfill of the web with yet more and more trash, but it’s overflowing. More and more, if people want to know something they’re reaching for ChatGPT or Gemini rather than another rancid Google search. And most are already treating them like they’re the fucking word of god if they’re not yet falling in love with them.

That's the point. How many people use ad blockers, like 30% of all users? Might as well fuck them over and try to milk the rest of the retarded cattle even harder.

Curious that that's exactly what I've been doing the past 20 years.

The arrow should go up, which means they should extract more value from the existing user base if they are a de facto monopolist.
It's impressive how much thing happens in companies on a micro level, but on a macro they work very predictably and can't change their fate
